I have a little confession to make, I have not always looked after my brows and given them the much needed attention they deserve. I am not only guilty of remembering to get them waxed just because I have a night out coming up but also only filling them in with product on special occasions too!!! Now don’t get me wrong I love the feeling of a newly waxed, well defined brow as much as the next girl but for me it’s the usual time issue (I never seem to have any!! ) and pure forgetfulness. But that has all changed for me as about four months ago after I made time to get my much neglected brows done I looked in the mirror and made the conscious decision to make the time not only for my brows but for me.
So I have been making it to all my wax appointments to ensure my brows are always party ready and I started to fill them as part of my everyday make up routine. As on one visit to the Benefit Browbar one of the girls explained to me that because I have fair eyebrows and wear glasses a lot they unfortunately tend to blend into my face with my make up and by filling them in not only would I be showing off my well defined brows to there best advantage but they would frame my face rather than my glasses. But the other benefit of this I discovered was I look younger!! After the first few days of adding it into my make up routine Tommo ( my husband ) started saying I looked great or different had I done something new to myself and as this was in the middle of the school run I just laughed and said no, not really giving it much thought. But then one Saturday morning we were having coffee together and he said it again and that I must be doing something new because I look about 16!!!! I laughed and said the only thing I was doing was filling in my eyebrows and he said that was it he couldn’t figure out what it was but he knew I had done something different. So ladies if Tommo or any man notices and thinks you look younger then there is definitely something in it!!!

So to achieve this brow look I used Benefits Gimme Brow. This brow gel is a really clever little product which uses micro fibres to stick to the skin and hairs of the brow to give you heavenly defined and fuller brows. It is also super easy to apply, you just brush the gel through your brows with the small mascara like wand and as the product is buildable you just keep applying until you have achieved the perfect brow for you.And don’t worry if you smudge it when applying it is easily wiped away with cotton wool without ruining the rest of you make up.

So now that I have reached browfection not only do I feel better for setting aside a little time for myself I also look younger so that is a real win win as far as I am concerned.
